PE and Sport Premium
PE Sport Funding
The government is providing additional funding of £150 million per annum to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. This funding - provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport - will be allocated to primary school headteachers.
At Mill View, we are committed to ensuring that our Sport Premium Funding is used to achieve and enhance 5 key indicators:
- Engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity
- Raise the profile of PE and Sport across school
- Increase confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport
- Broaden experiences through the range of sports and activities offered to all pupils

- Drive participation in a wide range of sports and activities across school
- Continue to boost levels of regular physical activity for all children
- Continue to upskill and develop staff with their planning and delivery of PE
