School Visit & Trips

Educational Visits

Class teachers and SLT work together to carefully plan and co-ordinate educational visits to enhance understanding, knowledge and recall of necessary skills linked to class themes.  Visits are integral to our curriculum to provide pre-learning at the start of a theme or later on in the term, as a tool to consolidate what has been taught in the classroom .  

Residential Trips

All Key Stage Two children are given the opportunity to take part in a full timetable of residential visits.  Great consideration and thought has gone into planning and designing our residential visits, to ensure that children gradually build confidence and skills.   Carefully selected activities, geographical location and the level of challenge provided by our visits ensure that children are given broad and varied opportunities that further enhance the curriculum we are able to offer in school.

The Venture Centre, Isle of Man
